Thinking about it I think both Night Driver / ZZAP (?) and early B&W Sprints need a mention too.
PS. Saw this on YT that's worth a look:

Well, this one seems to be a very popular topic as tons of Facebook fans chimed in discussing their favorite driving games. Here are our picks, so start your engines and get your opinionated motors roaring and let us know if you agree or disagree.
I'm just gonna leave this here, it seems appropriate

Hard to choose between Enduro or Outrun, but I think Outrun has a bit of an edge with the variety of scenery, hills, varying paths, etc. Enduro was amazing for the time and is still a blast to play, but Outrun just has a bunch of things that take it a notch up. Not relevant for this topic, but it's also kept up with the times. I think the XBLA Outrun was the last game I bought and played on my 360.
I would have had Metropolis Street Racer on the Dreamcast on my list as well. I'm not a huge racing game fan, but I really liked that one.

If you can't do it with 8 bits, you don't need to do it.

From the RGRU list, I'm gonna have to go with Outrun. But I played Atari's RoadBlasters more than any other driving game. Maybe you guys can do a Top-10 on Combat Driving Games for a future show.
When you think you are a tough avenger, switch the difficulty to A, and then try Ultimate Yars!
I'm not the biggest racing game fan, I find most racing games that I do like are very unrealistic. Other than the first Gran Turismo, the games I liked as far as racing is stuff like Hydro Thunder, F-Zero, Mario Kart, Need For Speed Most Wanted, stuff like that. Also have been playing some Blur and Burnout Paradise as far as newer games go.
Jeez. I can't believe I forgot about Burnout Paradise. I thought for sure I was going to "red ring" my original Xbox 360 because I was playing it so much.
So I would have to say my favorite driving game is Burnout Paradise and my favorite combat driving game is Atari's RoadBlasters.![]()
