I must have missed a detail over the years, but I've been curious since she showed up: Who's the broad who occasionally recites the numbers during the top-ten run-down?

Ah, that explains it! I must have fast-forwarded her at the time, thinking it was a joke or something.
So is she considered a friend of the show's, because she's really into pinball? Or did she get on your nerves because she disagreed with some of the pinball innovations, so her voice is used with some sarcasm?
Thanks for finding the relevant episode, by the way!

At the time it rubbed us the wrong way as we got questioned when we didn't include i right away. As it was early on we didn't want to start a precedent of having to include everything we got sent.

We used it eventually and use it now in an ironic way but have no axe to grind and she has made a cool pinball card game.

There's a link to her site on the shownotes page.
