For a while now I've been wanting to build or restore a retro gaming computer I.E Amiga, Commodore type of system to put in my future family gaming area. I'm not really sure where to start though. Could anyone point me in the right direction?

I think the two main computers I see in my area are the Commodore 64 and tandy trs-80. Shipping costs for retro pcs on eBay is price prohibitive. I'd recommend a craigslist want ad for your local area and see what people have laying in their garage they have forgotten about til reading your post. Retro games have dried up in my area but computers can still be found.

Thanks, I've got time to look so that's good. I've just had an urge to try old computer games lately.
I suppose it depends what games you can get easily too.
Before you insult a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you insult him, you'll be a mile away, and have his shoes.
