I can say so far, the VR methods I have tried that use headsets do not require me to even wear my glasses, as I am nearsighted, and the screen is close enough to my eyes that I can see clearly without the glasses. I know oculus is built with glasses users in mind, not sure about others though.

Also I have no feeling of motion sickness from vr so far, although I don't get motion sickness on boats or flights either.

So, I just read that Sony will be releasing a PS 4.5 to handle V.R. and 4k more efficiently. Has anyone else heard about this? What are your thoughts?

Vipp, I haven't played Pilot Wings 64, but I think people tend to like that one best. Unlike the 3DS version, there was more than just the one island to explore.

Piff M, I just saw a headline on the PS4 update, but don't know much of the details. If this is updated HW, they should have a way for customers to trade in and get a good value on their current PS4. This would go a long ways of thanking those that already bought a PS4 and want to try the VR.

USgamer has recently had a lot of VR articles. I don't have a PS4 and still don't plan on getting one, but here is one article from Jaz Rignall that does look very interesting: Battlezone will be launching on the PS4 VR.

Oh, and it doesn't take a fortune teller to predict that a lot of porn games will be made for VR.

Lot's of sony fans are saying this is a good price for the VR but mate 350 with a 40 camera and the eventuality that you will need the 4K console just adds up to the same problem re-dressed. it's all way too much cash to gamble away on the 'promise' of good VR gaming.

Jaz Rignall appeared in 'Games Master' back I nthe day, he's a great game reviewer and very approachable too, I read what he had to say and it all sounded great but again it feels like there is more to be expected from VR given how long the headsets have been knocking around the markets and how many awesome indie devs we have over the world....

And mate it never takes long before naked women (and men if that's your flavour) appear in entertainment, I can't buy a yogurt at asda without passing an advert of a woman fellating a spoon of the stuff... we just can't quite get past our genitals and VR will be the same. I remember back in my day you had to be great at card games before you got to see any milk producing mucle and fat glands but now... it's all over the shop. Haha.

I'm back to hating the idea of VR, clearly it's not for hard working folk like me who have bills to pay.

I think we're a long way from VR taking a real foothold in gaming.

It will continue to be niche until we have sufficient cost effective technology. Namely, without needing glasses etc.

Ive been keeping a close eye on it all from the perspective that I may be able to justify it for racing simulations, but it sounds like the fidelity still isn't quite good enough for that purpose, and you get a better experience with a high res ultra wide monitor/curved projection and a head tracking system like trackIR
