    Default Hankin Cocktail Table

Today I ordered our family Christmas present

Licensed replicas from the original 70's and 80's model. Mr Hankin was given Table stamped No.2 - Each one is numbered.

Manufactured in China by an Aussie who has set up a factory over there. Business named Homepin, they already manufacture replacement Boards for Pinballs. Currently building a Thunderbirds Pinball that will have the opportunity to buy in Kit form. Also build two other Arcade multicades a Lowboy and the Homeboy.

Anyway I will post pics of it when I get it.

    Nice.

A family present. How did you swing that?

I see it is made in Newcastle, Aus. My memory of Newcastle is driving past it while looking over at the mills and smoke and smog.

Wife loves classic games too. Her choice on getting a cocktail. Unfortunately she is not a fan of Pinnies. So that will have to wait a bit longer.
Yes Hankins were made in Newie and the original builder Mr Hankin I think still lives there.
Newcastle has a great coast line with some great surf breaks. These days the city is dead, it died when the steelworks shutdown. So the smoke and smog is long gone too.
The harbour/port is still busy, now leased by the Chinese. Plenty of coal mined not far from Newcastle and freighted by train to the harbour. I'm a passenger train driver and pass all the 2km long coal trains. One after the other.

Picked up the cocktail table today. Just unboxed it and put the legs on, had a quick "test play" before putting it up under the Chtistmas tree. Love the 60 in 1 board, Played Gyruss man I love that game and haven't played it in over 25 years I'd guess.
    Some pics
    Inside

Stools were included in the box. Nice touch.

    Correct arcade ratio LG screen

    4way and 8way controller switch

The under cabinet glowing lcd remote

Anyway their it is. The start of our home arcade. Stoked.

We are already thinking next to get a Sega Astro City Arcade Cabinet and put a 512 in 1 Jamma or similar in that.

A very nice machine, Kombi! Thanks for the detailed pics. The 4 / 8 way controller switch is a nice touch.

A guy in Brisbane here in Australia makes them. It's a great thing especially for multicades and MAMEs.

    The under cab LEDs?
The second pic I posted has it on but during day. But still can see the blue. Had it set up so it fades thru the colours.
Will post a pic after Chrissy during the night with it lit up

Yeah, glowing at night. Maybe even a video of it cycling through the colours.
