    Default Intellivision Flashback Upgrade Service

    Hey guys,

Here's a great way to play Intellivision games on modern HDTV's, like your new Ms Pac-Man rom in full-screen 1080p! And, you don't have to sift through the nearly 500 posts in the Ultimate Intellivision Flashback thread on AtariAge to get up and running.

Upgrade your existing Intellivision Flashback to the Ultimate Flashback! The upgraded system uses your existing controllers and power supply.

    The system includes:
    • Raspberry Pi B+ computer.
    • Ultimate PC Interface.
    • USB wifi dongle.
    • USB keyboard extension cable.

    What you get:
    • Beautiful full-screen HDMI output.
    • Wifi connectivity to add more games and download box art / game information.
    • USB keyboard input to configure your system, add game descriptions, etc. (keyboard not included!).
    • The rock-solid jzintv emulator with perfect sound.
    • The 60 games you've already purchased plus several great homebrews.
    • EmulationStation front-end. See the software in action here.

    Cost:
    • $149 including shipping from me. (It would cost you about $120 to do this project yourself.) You pay to ship your Flashback to me.

I've got a few systems going out now. PM me if you want to get on the waiting list.

Somebody somewhere has done this with the Coleco unit too, I bet.

Somebody Google that and post the link here.

    Thanks. LOL.
Before you insult a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you insult him, you'll be a mile away, and have his shoes.

That's why they invented MAME - so you don't have to play old arcade ports!

I used to really love projects like this, and I still get some chills when I see devices like this being altered to offer more functionality, but whenever I get to the point of deciding if I should spend money on something like this (emulation device du jour), I typically just wind up thinking to myself "but I already have a PC that does this."

I got a couple of extra flash back to do the same thing.
1/2 the fun is doing it yourself.
Do hope to find instructions for the Coleco.
It was a favorite of mine (more than Intellivision)
