Off the list, SMB (with NES Tetris as a close 2nd).
My own list:
Youth - Odyssey 2 (Pick Axe Pete!, KC Munchkin!, Quest for the Rings), Atari 2600 (Pitfall, River Raid, Adventure).
Teens - SMB 1,2,3, Zelda 1 & 2, Dragon Warrior 1.
College - Super Metroid , Link to the Past, Super Mario World, and Tetris/Dr. Mario SNES combo.
As always, I look forward to listening to the top 10!

The first time i played any mario game was on the Super NES and we have Tetris but my mother wouldn't let it go for any real amount of time to clock up good gameplay so that leaves me with Resident Evil 1, i played that game to death! in reality the games i played most as a child would have been split between Galaga Deluxe, Space Harrier, Pac-Mania and Shadow of the Beast.
It's a shame that Metroid isn't on the list. That game had me quite busy finishing it several times in order to get the fully naked ending.... that all of my friends were sure existed if you finished it fast enough. I never believed them though. :P Notice I didn't say the word "beat" in my response.
Pinball on the Fairchild Channel F, Wizard of Wor on the Bally Astrocade, Adventure on the Atari 2600 (looking for that damn dot), Golden Axe series on the Sega Genesis, Rouge Squadron and Shadows of the Empire on N64![]()
Good call on the Star Wars games! Made me realize I totally overlooked PC games. Mostly Sierra and Lucasarts games! Space Quest, Police Quest, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and Day of the Tentacle (and even quite some time spent on Zork games).
Of course a lot of time was spent just configuring my PC to get the games to work properly! I would have played more of Myst, but our computer at the time just didn't run the game very well.
Some of mine:
Atari 2600: Combat, Asteroids, Video Pinball
NES: Zelda, Metroid, Castlevania
C64: Barbarian, Defenders of the Crown, Airborne Ranger
PC: Ancient Art of War (and at Sea), AoE II, Empire Earth
PS1: Civilization II, Castlevania SotN, Metal Gear Solid
Arcade: Ms. Pac, Discs of Tron , Mat Mania

This was a wierd category. It seemed difficult to keep it "personal" like "the games I've played" vs the games that "deserve to be played". It seemed like everything sort of boiled down to "well i've never played it, but i understand why you did". Still hearing So Cal sort of slowly self destruct into a drunken mess was very entertaining.
