Default Free Zelda Four Swords Anniversary Ed. Limited Time Offer

Don't know if this is world wide or just the US, but 2DS/3DS owners can download the game for free Jan 30th to Feb 2nd.

You do have to create a Nintendo Network ID if you don't have one.

Just checked this out for us folks in Europe - the answer is No. and shockingly Nintendo wont answer fans when they ask why we don't get the game paid for or otherwise.

There are far too many restrictions and gotchas with linking your 3DS account to a Nintendo Network account and now they are trying to force people in to doing it because it suits them.

One day Nintendo will realize that the Internet has globalized the market and that they shouldn't treat us as separate markets. I am still waiting for them to release the Dragon Quest Anniversary Wii game that got released in Japan a couple of years ago.

You are correct. Not much in life is free (except for some Retro Gaming Podcasts).
