    No, but there are others.
Before you insult a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you insult him, you'll be a mile away, and have his shoes.

It's got to be Dizzy for me. No one else comes remotely close. I can't quite tell why I like that egg, I just do. Beyond that it's hard to think of what to recommend without trying to sort out if there is a line between a game character and a game mascot. I like Tex Murphy, but can't quite call him a mascot. He's just a man in a fedora. Not even a cartoon of a man like Mario.

I'll have to give the matter some thought. Is Guybrush Threepwood a mascot?

I was thinking of LucasArts too. Their characters were not quite mascots for the company and their not entirely forgotten. Guybrush, the Purple Tentacle, and Sam & Max probably came close to being mascots. And of course Sam and Max have had a recent game out, so they are definitely not in the forgotten category.

I was pretty surprised by Scott and UK Mike's dislike of Earthworm Jim. Maybe it was because I was a 90's kid, but I LOVED Earthworm Jim 1-2 on Genesis/Megadrive and though both games really pushed the system. Great humor, soundtrack, gameplay etc.

I don't think the games were forgettable at all! Quite the opposite. Every level had a interesting mechanic or character to it. I could name 10 other much more forgettable platformers.

    Alex Kidd on PS3..jpg

This month had a great Top 10!, i do love Dizzy however for me i was a little surprised to see Alex Kidd seen from our American friend's point of view, over here in the UK that little dude is loved. here is my 100% on the PS3 when they released Alex Kidd on the PSN. Also SoCal had some brilliant picks and things to say, i enjoyed Cool Spot also and would buy the game again if it was on the PSN.

    Another great episode of RGR.
