A low-rent podcast covering console/computer/arcade games, computer nostalgia, pinball & so forth. Explicit tag-worthy, and makes references to stirrup pants on occasion.

I'll give it a listen tonight at the hangar, always good to hear new stuff!

Don't expect anything amazing. In retrospect, I really rushed through the pins on the pilot episode. But it's all in good fun.

OK, obvious notes; up production value, get wind screen for mic to cut breathing, etc.

But really good content. Your observations on D&D were spot on. I own one and I disabled that function (magic save) and wired the gates shut so it behaves like a normal game. I also added a rebound post between the flippers.

I switched over from a cheap-o dollar store stand mic to a cheap-o headset and the audio quality got better. As for a windscreen, I'll improvise something.

I considered a Bally Hardbody pin that was only $500 in the area..only to find out it also has the magic save "feature". Bally hit a high point with Centaur, and 2 low points with these two.

New episode up. This time, I talk about Tunnels of Doom for the TI-99/4A, and celebrate Pinball on a Stick at the MN State Fair.

I had a friend growing up that had the TI-99/4A, it was a neat system. I remember playing Donkey Kong on it and remembering it was actually a fairly nice port of the game. Also liked Car Wars quite a bit on that system among other games he had!
