Or there's always Maze Wars, which was one of the first, if not the first FPS game

Does anyone remember how novel it was when the iphone first came out to play Labrynth? I remember building my own set as a kid.

I myself only count the wooden box with a metal ball and sporting two knobs on perpendicular sides as a maze game, but that might be a bit harsh.

(also, Snake is as you know the protagonist of my own suggestion "Metal Gear" :P )
I hadn't even considered Tron Lightcycles, but you are right. I would have picked that in the poll had it been there. I hope it gets an honorable mention at least.

Wow, this is one of the toughest top 10s... personally I'd pick Ms. Pac Man. I'd like to pick Pac Man, it's certainly the King of maze games... Saturn Bomberman is my favorite multiplayer game of all time. Berzerk, Wizard of Wor and Night Stalker are each awesome shooting maze variations... If they were options I might go Tutankham for sentimental reasons... or Frenzy, which I actually like a bit better than Berzerk.

In the end: Pac Man. Still fun and challenging after 30 years. I'd put Berzerk as my #2 pick, but it isn't much about the maze itself, it's more about shooting.

If you can't do it with 8 bits, you don't need to do it.

I'm going to go out on an obscure limb and choose The Labyrinth of Time.

Of course, I had it as a primary in my picks. Love almost every port of that game, it was GREAT on NES.
