Yeah, a good time was had by all. Great to see everyone (and to meet you, Todd). It all went by so quickly, as these things do.

Thanks James for the driving and all the help with my Night Driver. And THANK YOU SoCal for driving it back in your SUV!!

At least the most important half is now sitting in my parent's garage in LA (until I make room in my garage, and figure out a good story to tell the wife about how I got it)... Oh, and also figure out a way to get the rest of it without spending a small fortune...

Well, despite being in Portland, I had a fantastic time, and it was great to meet everyone.

Thanks to Todd and Nurmix for helping out in the booth when we were doing interviews.

Thanks to James for acting as a shuttle bus and for showing Scott and me round his home arcade. Sorry I nodded off but I was in the wrong time zone at the right time.

Play testing the board game was great and James has done a ton of great work on it. You are going to love it.

Great meeting you three bastards and BiteKnight too!! Thanks for making the trip UK!! Bummed that I missed the panel, I totally forgot about it as I was brain fried and distracted by so many shiny things at the expo. Also bummed that the CD thief never really made a good attempt at boosting anything, despite making so many reconnaissance runs past the table. Cheeky bugger!!

You know, I was thinking that myself. Seems like I was dropping by the booth every hour or two at the least. For some reason I cannot fathom, people mistake me for SoCal (seriously, like four people over the weekend) so maybe you just assumed you were having double vision for some reason.

Myself, I had entirely too much blood in my alcohol system, so I may not have been as alert as I usually am.

Fun times guys. The show was awesome. *If* you have a little more time next year we should take a day trip out to the Oregon Coast and visit the Game Over arcade in Lincoln City. This would give you guys a chance to see the OR coast, visit a casino, and checkout another arcade. Something to think about if you can swing getting here a day earlier or something. I can take us out there.

Really enjoyed spending time with everyone. Glad we got at least 1/2 of the Night Driver down to LA. Nurmix - I'll ship the shifter, there is also some difficulty knob that I'll ship. Probably be a week or two until I can get it all apart. I'll be in China late next week, so when I get back I can take care of this.

    Peace,

    James
