Jilly's Arcade in Ocean City, NJ

Hey everyone - last summer - on my family trip to Ocean City, NJ - I stumbled across Jilly's arcade. Aside from your traditional arcade, ticket redemption and driving games - they had the largest pinball collection on the boardwalk! I took pictures of what they have with my cell phone. The bad side to it is that they hardly maintained them, so there were tons of scuffs and black marks - enough to make Scott cringe. Take a look, and enjoy!

Wow, Great pics thanks for posting them! I would go on family vacations to Ocean City NJ as a kid, Jilly's was the BEST back then! I discovered so many great games there...Wish I had some pictures of that too! Wonder what happened to all of those classics? Did you ever go to the Aquaport arcade on Asbury Ave? Simms Video Casino on the boardwalk was a pretty good arcade too but I think that is long gone.

Hey Rup, I don't think the aquaport arcade is there anymore, nor is the video casino on the Boardwalk. There are a couple of arcades remaining on the boardwalk, but Jilly's has the most machines that I've seen. I believe we plan to go back this year, so I'll look out for more! Nowadays - the stores on the boardwalk are all t-shirt shops and/or food.

It's a shame that they don't maintain these, the attendant is only there to break large bills for the change machine.

That's a great read - it takes me back to an easier time! Now it's dirty diapers and mortgages!

It makes me mental when I see pinball machines that are in bad shape. I always say that if Scott or some other pinball collectors saw that machine, they would have a heart attack.
