Doh! Looks like Picross e isn't available in the US. At least not yet. I hope they do release it, but so far no release date has been given.
I actually played these games in reverse order. I bought and played Picross 3D as a recommendation from a friend a while ago. It wasn't until listening to you on RGR did I learn about Mario's Picross on the GB. I don't really have a preference between the 2D and 3D versions. I enjoyed them both.

Just had a friend over last night and we played M.U.L.E. on the NES. He'd never played it back in the day so it was pretty fun! I made sure to play as a human while he was a flapper. We also played a bit of coop Tengen Tetris (which contrary to Scott, I believe is superior to the licensed version in almost every aspect except for visuals).
I've also been re-playing Final Fantasy VI on SNES. Great game!
The first time i played M.U.L.E was recorded for the STR podcast, i didn't have a clue what i was doing but it was a great night and lots of fun! Meanwhile tonight i have managed to get 100% on my Sonic CD and Sonic 2 games from the PSN. love Sonic and being able to play online was great, for a moment it was like being a kid again and sharing the amazing Sonic levels like Casino Zone with friends for the first time. What an impressive game that was, i loved it then and i love it now.
I've got both of those! I got Sonic CD when it first came out on Sega CD. Brilliant game - doesn't quite feel like any other sonic game level design wise, but it's got some killer music (US and Japanese) and great "Mode 7-ish" 3d.
Just picked up Wario Ware, Inc. Mega Microgame$. Most are probably familiar with this one. Lots of quick minigames played one after the other. Unlike Mario Party, you don't have to play a slow board game just to unlock the minigames. Some of the microgames are bits of retro games like Donkey Kong, Duck Hunt, Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros, Metroid, etc.
In it, you can also unlock the full version of the NES Dr. Mario (but reskinned as Dr. Wario).
I've been on a creepily specific gaming kick the last week or so... LCD handheld golf games. lol
And I've been playing the 2600 quite a bit more. Namely Mrs. Pac-Man and Jr. Pac-Man.

I have been playing Mario Golf for Game Boy Color. I hadn't played it before, but it is a great golf game. It lets you save your progress, so you can play a couple of rounds and come back later to finish. It also has a lot of replay value. The changing direction/speed of the wind makes it a different game every time you play.
