I forgot to put up our Top-10 for the month. So here it is. Let us know if you agree or disagree with our choices for favorite villains. What are you choices?
Evil Otto - Berzerk Arcade
Dr. Robotnik - Sonic Series
Gannon - Zelda Series
Chainsaw Guy - Resident Evil 4
Rhindle the Red Dragon - Adventure Atari 2600
Death Adder - Golden Axe Arcade
Coily - Q*Bert
Blinky, Red Ghost - Pac Man Arcade
Bowser - Mario Series
Bongo Bongo - Zelda, Ocarina of Time
Mad Bomber - Kaboom
Dysentery - Oregon Trail
Well, I bet SoCal voted for the Mad Bomber
Death in Gauntlet - he was a pain in the neck!
Not sure who to vote for here, lots of good choices. Tempted to go Otto from Berzerk, because he played a very specific role in the design of the game, added a lot of pressure, and was invincible.
As I mentioned on the facebook page, Empress Gremla from "Game Over" but that is mostly a vote for the cover art. I also like Torquemada in "Nemesis - The warlock", bodies have never been stacked so well...
Sinistar! Always hungry and calling me Ron Howard.
But from the Top 10 I will go with Evil Otto.
When you think you are a tough avenger, switch the difficulty to A, and then try Ultimate Yars!
I totally forgot, Big Boss from Metal gear.
That sneaky bastard really know how to twist the blade after he stabs you in the back.

I had to go with dysentery. A truly inspired choice. Without that one I'd plump for Evil Otto, partially because he's such an utter bastard pushing you through the maze, but mainly because he is an evil smileyface.
I've also been thinking about four picks of my own.
First, evil skull Murray from Curse of Monkey Island. Pure class. See for yourself.
For my number twos, the snapping toilets from Manic Miner and Jet Set Willy. A vital reminder to never let your Willy get pinned down under a falling toilet seat.
My choice for #3 is Mother from the game Sanitarium. You arrive in a devastated village populated by hideously deformed children. They constantly mention "Mother," who oversees and protects them. Then you find the huge, sprawling plant spreading across the town.
I expect that Sanitarium, being a PC game, is less well known than the many console based horror classics, which is a bit of a pity as it's genuinely the creepiest game I've ever played and deserves more recognition. I'm not often a fan of horror, but when it's this well done and creative it is enough to win me over.
My final choice is Robo-Hitler in Wolfenstein 3D. Because he's Hitler in a robot suit, what more do you need? Besides, after the joy of killing Nazis for a few hours there's no better way to conclude than to drown Hitler in a hail of gunfire as well.
Surprised to see Bongo Bongo on that list, I wonder who picked it. I voted for the more obvious Zelda pick!
