    Default Retro Gaming Book Thread

Currently reading 'Digital Retro' by Gordon Laing, it's a great book with a fairly comprehensive look at computers/consoles of the 80s from the Altair to the NeXt, featuring full colour photos taken at various angles. I'd highly reccomend it and was looking for a book thread on here to work out what else is worth reading. Couldn't find a thread so thought I'd kick one off :-)

I have that book but i didn't read it yet. Along with 5 or 6 other ones! I loved the commodore book that was put out some time ago... '
On the Edge: the Spectacular Rise and Fall of Commodore' and of course Racing the Beam. The Steven Kent book "History of Video Games" is pretty good, and Arcade Fever and The Encyclopedia of Arcade Video Games are good coffee table books.
