    Hi there

Waiting with anticipation for January's show.

That is a pretty wide topic. You've got a whole slew of flight sims: Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe, Falcon 3.0, Gunship, etc. You've got a whole bunch of great strategy games: North & South, Nuclear War, Military Madness, all those SSI games from the 80s... You've got arcade-style games: Commando, Tiger Heli, General Chaos... lots to choose from, it should be interesting.

.... and you hit a couple of them .....

I hated North & South though.

You hated North and South? The Civil War game? I never owned it, but I used to rent it and in later years have enjoyed the emulated version. It's the best civil war game that I've found after all these years, which isn't saying much.

The best game in a genre of one LOL.

Yeah I just never liked it. It had the 2 modes as I remember, an arcade style and a sim style, without doing either one that well.

I hate the Military Madness / Advance Wars play mechanic too. As you will soon discover.....

Oh there's other civil war games out there on the PC, PS3, etc but none of them are as good (which again, isn't saying much, hehe).

It helps to be a big civil war buff, which I am. It also helps to be desperate for a good civil war video game, which I am.

You hate Advance Wars? What? That's like hating chocolate cake, or kittens, or Guiness...
