    I listened to the Audiobook of Armada by Ernest Klein, author of Ready Player One.
    No where as good but still enjoyable with arcade game references. A bit predictable also.

    I just started listening to Armada. I am not very far into the story, but I think the critics are unfair to it. They say it is just a copy of existing stories and movies. It actually uses early arcade games, sci-fi movies, modern shooters, etc. to set the stage for a wider conspiracy (most of the games and movies are all real and referenced accurately). It is actually quite clever.
