The top ten was great and number one brought a tear to my eye. Well, not really, but it was still nice dammit. The live news was more live than news really. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Is this happening this month? I know everyone has been ultra busy with CGE and Retro Magazine and whatnot, but I need my live news fix. C'mon man, I'll suck yo.... no. No I wont.
I was there for it. Scary situation. It really showed me how much people care for each other and how there's a real sense of community at CGE. I'm glad I could be part of that community.
Damn right it was! It's actually possible that we saw each other or maybe have even talked and not known who the other was.
I'm arriving in Vegas around 10 am Friday. Plans so far include a date with a few beers and then another date with more beers. I'm sure I'll find good company along the way.
Awesome, looking forward to it. This expo is like waiting for Christmas, I can barely contain myself.
Is anyone around here planning on entering the Kaboom! contest? (looking at you SoCal). I just scored a personal best. Not the highest score I've ever seen, but I'm rather proud of it.1652
Tell me more about these tittybiscuits.
Wish I could make it, but can't unfortunately.
Just saw on reddit that Nolan Bushnell is doing an AMA tonight at 6pm EST!
The precarious placement of your hand and UK Mike's eyes are suggesting a corrupt narrative. Must look away.
Right on kynrek. This will be my first CGE as well and I'm also going by myself so you're not the only one. I haven't heard of any solid plans to go to the PHOF but from what I've gathered here in...
Dang, I'm most likely going to miss this one. I'll probably be able to listen in, but not chat at all.
oooh, now I see where that came from. If I play it I will certainly enjoy it. Maybe not as much as boong-ga boong-ga, but....
Just found a really cool horizontal shmup called Cosmic Cop. Give ot a try, it's a fun one.
Glad to see Keystone Capers on this list. I recently discovered this game and has quickly become one of my go to games whenever I fire up my 2600. I'll have to check out Frostbite and Fishing Derby...
What is "My WHAT Game"? Curiosity is piqued.
ooooohh, I forgot that drinks are free in Vegas. My breakfast may be a lunch instead.
The Excalibur has an arcade called the fun dungeon and is located right on the strip. Also check out Insert Coins on Freemont Street. It's a nice barcade with quite a few arcade cabs and console...
and I'm sure the next morning I'll be doing the "what the hell did I do last night and why are my eyes bleeding breakfast"
May be missing this one. Will have to see how the workload is that day.

No turning back now. It's officially official that I'm going now that it's all been paid. Now to wait for 12 weeks.

I have to agree with Chris here. Video Pinball is a seriously underrated gem for the 2600. As a kid I was a bit put off by the visual aspect of it because it didn't really look like a pinball machine...
I immediately thought of the arcade version of Gyruss. Awesome music, innovative take on the shooter genre, and just plain awesome fun.
