Spicy Horse Games has announced today during the Redwood EA press conference a new game entitled, Alice: Madness Returns. It is the continuation of the original American Mcgee’s Alice game that came out almost a decade ago, featuring a creepy and distorted perspective on the original novel.

As explained during the announcement’s segment, the game will take place 10 years after the death of Alice’s parents. She will return to Wonderland after having spent a decade in an insane asylum, battling against the nightmares and torment following the lost of her love ones. From what we know, she will use this recurring trip in order to uncover the truth behind the death of her parents. The game will take place in both Wonderland and London, in a distorted and artistic rendering of the first game art style.

The game is set to be released in 2011 and contrary to the original, will be available on PlayStation 3, XBOX360 and the PC.
