NESHEAD80 won the free RGR steam group game this month! :) if you haven't signed up to the official Retro Gaming Roundup steam group yet, maybe you should.

The Retro mag sounds great! I think it would be awesome if you guys could get someone to do BASIC code samples or tutorials. I would love to see regular tips/hints on how to exploit the Petit Computer.

Now hold on.

When Retronauts had a Kickstarter, I submitted it for news, and you guys shit all over it. Now you guys have a Kickstarter.

For an all new physical product with real production costs and a massive lineup of talent that is payed talent. What we didn't do was take the show off the air then ask for cash to do the same thing we were doing for free. But I would like to say that we were not really all that spun up about that in and of itself. At the time some really cool kickstarters for products with significant costs associated with them had failed to reach funding goals while there were a few podcast kickstarters that sailed ahead.

Retronauts are cool.... Retro the magazine is "Really Cool"!

I really hope this gets funded and as always incredible episode guys. I particularly enjoyed hearing the Ed Fries interview. I can't wait to here about what UK Mike got up to in the next episode. :) Did UK Mike get to see the American tradition known as Bigfoot whilst he was up north? I have a buddy from Oregon that absolutely insists that Bigfoot is a real thing. :)

I am a big believer in "to each his own" with no real need to judge each other, BUT.........I have never understood the concept of a hairstyle that basically emulates the fur around a dog's ass that is all matted down with dirt and feces.

Indeed, a very large percentage of California's hippy population has wandered north in vagabond fashion. I am trying to get the word out on how hip and liberal Boise is, so maybe they will wander in that direction.

What we didn't do was take the show off the air then ask for cash to do the same thing we were doing for free. I was spun. The whole lot of them, but especially Parrish, acted like every episode of the podcast was an immense chore and he would rather be doing something else. It was a JOB and he treated it with zero respect for his listeners or his employer. There was no dedication, no excitement, no love. They were at least receiving some compensation for doing what RGR, Retro League, Retroist and many others do for free, dependably, with enthusiasm and professionalism. And then they ask people for money to keep Retronauts going instead of letting it die a peaceful death. I would rather spend the night with the chick mentioned in Scott's post above than donate to something like that.

That was repeated to the entire room just now, and the entire room laughed, and some still are. Brilliant line!

Doing a kickstarter for an amateur podcast is worse than the BBC taking money from every British household to watch the mediocre output they produce.

We would never say "Pay us to make content." If you want to donate you can, if you don't, don't.

Just go and look at the line up of writers and see how many would, could and should work for free.
