Spoiler alert!

I was playing Holywood Hijinx and in the game you get a map on screen (that you could probably print back in the day) needless to day I have an Apple ii printer sitting around so....

I hooked the iigs up to my 50'' plasma (epic!) and snapped a picture with my iphone

then I inverted the colors:

viola! now I have an image i can print and I'm back to the adventure!

It's the little things like this that make these text adventures so fun :)

I've done that with save passwords so I wouldn't have to write them down. lol

Out of curiosity, how do you hook up your IIgs to your plasma? Composite or something better?

Wow, that lamp looks very realistic! Amazing what the IIgs could do back then... ;)

And how did you hook the IIgs up to your TV?

Composite video. I actually found an apple to VGA converter at a thrift store by belkin but I haven't tested it yet. I'll post pics of it later

I bet it's an early Mac to VGA converter. I'm not aware of any production VGA converters for the IIgs. The main problem is that the IIgs uses a 15 kHz sync, whereas most VGA monitors sync to 31 kHz minimum.
