That looks really nice for $250. You have some sweet cabs in your collection.

My how times have changed. I recall paying $500 and beating the market by $300 or more, $150 in new parts and I had a sweet machine.

The cab looks fantastic.

Did someone swap the orange button with the blue?

Are we going to see you on the King of Kong 3?

ya, someone switched the buttons around. I need to switch them back - they look stupid :) But the rest of the cab is nearly flawless. Just put on some new side art and it looks like new!

And, no. I completely suck at this game but have been watching the videos of Steve playing it and have learned a few things. I can consistently score in the 50,000-60,000 range now. Still practicing though.:SM

That's awesome, I didn't know one could score such a cheap machine.

I keep tellin' the wife, before its over, I WILL have that machine. Back in the day (TM) it was my game. My high score was 390,100. I remember putting my girfriends initials in for the high score entry and it went 2 or 3 weeks without being unplugged. I told her about it, she didn't seem near as impressed as I was. Anyway, good lookin' machine at a piss everyone off but you price!

Im lucky enough to live in a city that has Super Auctions 3 or 4 times a year. Havent seen one go for under 450. My time is coming though.....

Let's have one this winter. Maybe November sometime. I will start zeroing in on a date. It's hard to have a get together at my place because there is no parking - gated community with very little parking.

But let me think about it :)

Hmmm, yes that might not do. Did you go to the last SC3? I'm in the middle of moving, but if I can swing it I'm going to try to go to the one on the 26th. Maybe we could do a mini RGR meet up there.

Ya, I will be at SC3 with some good raffle prizes :) I will announce it in the forums, too. Hope you can make it.

What MAME started, Ultracade kind of finished. At auctions out here (east coast US), arcade games have been going for $25 to $200. That is for fully working games with the higher price being for the nicer cabs and/or rare games. That is also for earllier (pre 1990) stuff. Post 1990 games basically don't sell unless an operator thinks they can still make money with them. With the Ultracade suit going on, it will be interesting to see if the prices jump back up at all.
